AMBER SMITHERS

Amber Smithers is based in Oakura, Taranaki on the coast of New Zealand as a Freelance Makeup Artist she was currently working with The Bridal Makeup Co as a Head Senior Artist for the past 5 years in Sydney, Australia. Amber started her career at Cut Above Academy in Auckland NZ earning credits for Multiple styles of Makeup, Hair, Special effects and Body Art, learning from the best in the industry at that time.  Amber has also worked at MAC Cosmetics for many years in management positions, building a wealth of artistry knowledge and experience under some of the most sought after Makeup Artists in the industry.

Working across Editorial, TV, Fashion and Bridal in both New Zealand and Australia, Amber is passionate about creating and evolving as an artist. She has had the privilege of assisting one Australia's leading Makeup Artists on a Celebrity Judge during Season 5 of The Voice Australia.

Amber's creative talent and attention to detail are well known by her clients. She loves to perfect the skin and achieve flawless finishes, drawing inspiration from current fashion and beauty looks from both Sydney and around the world.
